Aerial Hoop Beginners - 3 Week Course

About:
Are you new to aerial hoop or have hooped before but want to increase your understanding of the vital basics? This class will cover all areas of hoop, starting at the beginning with learning how to correctly mount and dismount, so you can safely practice hoop at any level. We will work through a range of moves that can be built into routines, starting with core moves and building up to more complex ones. It will also give you a better understanding of the hoop and movement along with learning how to transition between moves. If you’re ready for a fun new challenge or want to build on your previous experience sign up now and get fit having fun! 6 weeks for just £30!

Sundays 4.30pm-5.30pm, 19th Jan - 2nd Feb

What do I wear?
Leggings are recommended for Aerial Hoop, to reduce the risk of friction burns on the skin

Aerial Hoop Intermediate - 3 Week Course

About:
This is open to anyone currently on the beginner's course who would like to progress further, or anyone with previous hoop experience. This course will cover a range of intermediate level moves and use of the top bar. We will also introduce dynamic movement which will incorporate fundamental skills such as Beating, Popping and Spinning. Learning dynamic movement will assist you in transitioning between more complex moves, routine building and progression onto advanced aerial hoop. Join us for what will be a challenging but fun course.

When is it?
Sundays 6pm-7pm, 19th Jan - 2nd Feb

How much is it?
£15 for the 3 weeks

What do I wear?

Mixed Ability Strength, Conditioning & Flexibility - 3 Week Course

About:
Want that 6 pack bikini body everyone dreams of? Your front splits / box splits or a better backbend? Or maybe you just want to help increase your strength and flexibility? Then this 6-week course is for you! These classes will build your strength through core work and conditioning, combined with stretching at the end of class to give optimum results. It is suitable for all fitness levels and the teacher will work with you to achieve your individual goals. 6 weeks for just £30!

When is it?
Sundays 3.15pm-4.15pm, 19th Jan - 2nd Feb

How much is it?
£15 for the 3 weeks

What do I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. We recommend you bring both shorts and leggings/joggers, as some strength work may involve using equipment such as the poles and hoops

2-hour Beginner Acro Workshop

About:
This is what we've all been waiting for!! Instagram sensations Tink & Hyper from Acrobility are coming to PoleKat Fitness! This fun and unique class is open to anyone of any age - no experience necessary! Suitable for those wanting to learn or refresh the basics of acrobalance. Amazing value for money - limited spaces! Pole Dance Choreo - 5 week course
Flow, Floorwork and Spins

About:
Let's Dance!

Curious about the dance side of pole? Always wanted to try some floorwork but don’t know where to start? Got all those killer tricks but no transitions? Look no further! This 5 week course concentrates on Flow, Floorwork and Spins.

Over the 5 weeks Julie Foxx will take you through a routine of Floorwork, Flow and Spins. Building them into a full routine which will have you realising ‘All Filler can still be Killer’

Please bring some slidey socks to help glide across the floor

Whilst the moves can be adapted to any level poler, this routine is aimed at intermediate level and above (i.e. can invert)

Knee Pads are highly recommended - no leg grip is needed so leggings are also fine (or both)
